The Summer Success Program is a transition program for incoming first-year student-athletes who are enrolled in Summer Session II. Students receive tutoring and other academic support to guide their habits towards success in each course. Students also take part in a series of workshops designed to enhance their skills and familiarize them with the resources available on UNC’s campus. In addition to learning academic survival tips from current UNC student-athletes and professors, students also are exposed to library resources, the UNC Honor System, and the Writing Center. Students work with their academic counselors and other support staff to focus on goal setting, study skills, and time management techniques. Participation in the Summer Success Program is a great way to get your career as a Tar Heel student-athlete off to a great start!
